Novāre (noh-vah-ray)
A Latin verb meaning "to make new," "renew," or "renovate"; it emphasizes creating fresh approaches or repairing something to make it new again.
Hi, I’m Sudha.
Novāre means "to renew," and that is the heartbeat of my practice. I believe that staying active and pursuing your passions is key to a healthy life. My mission is to help you repair, refresh, and get back to doing exactly what you love.
My name is Sudha Mathai. After years of dreaming about starting my own business, I am finally opening my doors to this community with Novare Physical Therapy. I graduated with my Master’s in Physical Therapy back in "the 1900s"—as the kids like to say—and have been a Licensed PT for 27 years.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked across various clinical settings, but my true passion has always been Sports and Orthopedics. I am certified in Manual Therapy and Dry Needling, techniques that allow me to treat a wide variety of orthopedic injuries with precision. Whether you are looking to return to a sport or simply move through your day pain-free, I am confident that my experience and hands-on approach will help you achieve your goals.
I am also a proud wife and mother to three daughters. We love calling Flower Mound home, and you can usually find me enjoying the things that keep me inspired: traveling to new places, exploring the local food scene, staying active with Pilates, capturing life behind a photography lens, and mainly spending time with my family.
